Responsibilities For Senior System Development Engineer, Payload Antenna Team

  • Integration, simulation, and test of state-of-the-art space borne phased array systems
  • Measure, validate, and perform root cause analysis on phased array systems and sub-systems
  • Interface with standard RF equipment to enable automation and efficient data collection
  • Create and/or modify new software features to enable testing of standard phased array system metrics
  • Act as a liaison with the Kuiper software team to drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs
  • Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems

Requirements For Senior System Development Engineer, Payload Antenna Team

Linux
  • BS in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework in digital communication theory, digital signal processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetic theory
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 3+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
  • Experience with Standard RF Test Equipment such as VSA, VNA, and VSG
  • Experience with Hardware/Software system bring up and debugging
  • Must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
