Server Engineer | Data Center Operations

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS's global infrastructure. As a Server Engineer in Data Center Operations, you will be part of the team that keeps the cloud running by maintaining the world's largest computing infrastructure.

Your role involves hands-on management of hardware lifecycle in our IT infrastructure, including server rack installation/removal, hardware repairs, and emergency response. You'll work in a dynamic environment maintaining critical infrastructure that powers AWS services worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service data center infrastructure equipment including racks, servers, networking devices
• Perform systematic problem resolution and routine hardware operations
• Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance activities
• Conduct hardware troubleshooting and provide first-line technical support
• Contribute to site management and maintain operational standards
• Work in rotating shifts (10-hour shifts, 4 days on/3 days off)

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Linux/Windows systems, server hardware, and networking fundamentals. You'll be part of a diverse team of engineers working together to ensure the highest standards of infrastructure reliability and performance.
