Description For Software Dev Engineer, Antenna System Validation, Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

As a software engineer for antenna systems, you will be responsible for collaborating with systems architects, hardware engineering design teams, and FW/SW design teams. Your role involves bringing up and testing systems that combine FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions. You'll build advanced tools for:

  • Characterizing subsystems and systems related to antennas
  • Complex data storage
  • Hardware test automation
  • Firmware design and implementation
  • Application development
  • Design automation for 2D and 3D structures
  • Developing bring up tools and scripts for phased array systems

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year depending on location, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge satellite technology while making a global impact.
