Amazon Exports and Expansion is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Cross Border Tech team. The team enables cross-border shopping for Amazon customers worldwide, serving 200+ destinations across 11 Exports-enabled stores with access to 177M+ products.
The position involves working on Global Store (GS) and Core Exports (CE) initiatives, which together provide a seamless international shopping experience. GS operates across 59 source-destination pairs, offering customers access to Amazon's international selection with localized experiences, competitive pricing in local currency, cross-border delivery, returns, exclusive deals, local payment methods, and customer service.
As an SDE II, you'll be responsible for building tools and services that enhance how customers discover and purchase global merchandise. You'll work on complex problems through data analysis and develop state-of-the-art software systems. The role requires collaboration across various e-commerce domains and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
