Software Dev Engineer II, Cross Border Tech

Amazon Exports and Expansion is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Cross Border Tech team. This role focuses on building next-generation services that will redefine international trade at Amazon and improve how shoppers worldwide discover and purchase global merchandise. The team enables cross-border shopping for Amazon customers in 200+ destinations across 11 Exports-enabled stores, providing access to 177M+ products.

The role involves working on Global Store (GS) and Core Exports (CE) services that facilitate international shopping experiences. GS operates across 59 source-destination pairs, creating an integrated experience that allows customers to shop Amazon's international selection on their local platform. The system handles complex processes including cross-border fulfillment, localized experiences, competitive pricing in local currency, returns, exclusive deals, local payment methods, and customer service.

As an SDE II, you'll be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated software systems that address complex business challenges. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across teams to build tools and services that scale across Amazon's growing global footprint.
