Software Development Engineer, Alexa Audio

Join Amazon's Alexa Audio team to shape the future of voice-controlled audio experiences. As a Software Development Engineer, you'll work on audio experiences including Music, Podcast, Audio Books, Radio, and Ambient soundscapes for Alexa-enabled devices. The role involves building integration skill kits for seamless integration with major content providers like Amazon Music, Spotify, and Apple.

You'll have the opportunity to impact customer experience, design, and architecture of products used daily by millions. The position offers hands-on experience with voice control interfaces and scalable API platforms interfacing with Generative AI. Working directly with Product Management and Design teams, you'll refine customer experiences for Alexa entertainment products.

The team owns audio experiences on Alexa enabled devices, managing a universe of tens of millions of distinct audio content across streaming services. You'll work on making voice commands and proactive suggestions seamless for customers, enabling features like cross-device playback control and media transfer.
