Description For Software Development Engineer, Alexa Endpoint Experiences

Join the innovative team behind Amazon's Echo Show, a cutting-edge Alexa-enabled device with touch-screen capabilities supporting video calling, music, weather, and more. As a Software Development Engineer in the Alexa Devices team, you'll be at the forefront of developing features that combine speech with visuals on Echo Show and similar screened Alexa devices. The role involves working on high-profile consumer electronics products including Fire TV, Kindle, and the entire Echo family.

You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining systems that ensure Alexa delivers seamless, low-latency responses at Amazon's massive scale. The position involves developing device frameworks, APIs, and collaborating with both Amazon teams and third-party partners. You'll work in an Agile/Scrum environment, partnering closely with UX designers and Product owners to shape customer experiences and product direction.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
