Join Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) Space Cube Capacity Management team as a Software Development Engineer and make a meaningful impact on Amazon's supply chain. You'll be part of a team that develops and maintains systems for inventory placement and space allocation decisions across Amazon's vast network of fulfillment centers. As an SDE, you'll collaborate with diverse teams including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to create high-performance software solutions. Your work will directly impact hundreds of thousands of associates and millions of customer orders daily. The team focuses on optimizing inventory allocation, forecasting demand, and ensuring optimal inbound and outbound processes.

Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technology - Space Cube Capacity Management

  • Design and Build highly scaled and efficient solutions using the latest AWS technologies and infrastructure
  • Owning and Maintaining business critical systems that support hundreds of thousands of associates and millions of customer orders
  • Work with partner teams including Product, Science, Operations and other Tech teams
  • Use Data for deep dive analysis and solution fine-tuning
  • Participate in hiring process, onboarding and mentoring less experienced engineers

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technology - Space Cube Capacity Management

Java
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
