Software Development Engineer, AWS Elemental MediaTailor

AWS Elemental MediaTailor is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their cloud-based video streaming and advertising technology team. This role is part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which manages the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

The position focuses on developing and maintaining AWS Elemental MediaTailor, a service that enables content providers to deliver personalized viewing experiences through server-side ad insertion (SSAI) technology. You'll work on sophisticated manifest manipulation, dynamic ad decisioning, and detailed reporting capabilities that help content providers maximize advertising revenue while ensuring high-quality viewing experiences for millions of concurrent viewers.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable features, writing well-tested code, participating in on-call rotations, and collaborating with senior engineers to improve system architecture. Your day-to-day activities will include debugging complex issues, participating in code reviews, and documenting technical decisions.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location and experience, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
