Software Development Engineer, CIA Connectivity Services

Amazon Operations Technology is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our CIA Connectivity Services team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be solving challenging problems and developing scalable, high-performance network automation solutions that require minimal long-term sustaining and development. Our team builds solutions that span Amazon Stores and FC networks. Our services and infrastructure are foundational for over 100,000 Amazonians and hundreds of thousands of IP-enabled devices that get packages to customers every day.

Key job responsibilities: • Partner with System Engineers, Network Engineers, and Software Engineers globally to develop simple and efficient network automation services and infrastructure that support our Fulfillment Centers and Transportation Sites. • Work with a wide variety of technologies and projects that range from third-party enterprise solutions to open source and proprietary inventions. • Provide mentorship, guidance, and solutions to complex business problems that are truly unique to Amazon for Technicians and Engineers worldwide. • Focus on automation of complex tasks to allow our business to scale with customer demand, valuing performance, simplicity, and scalability in our designs.
