Software Development Engineer, Devices Retail Inventory and Financial Record Keeping Technology (DRIFT)

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Devices Retail Inventory and Financial Record Keeping Technology (DRIFT) team. This role focuses on building and maintaining solutions for Amazon's Devices Retail Fulfillment, specifically in B2B Retail distribution.

The position involves working with AWS technologies to develop distributed systems that manage inventory, ordering, promotions, and returns for Amazon's device products across global retail partners. You'll be part of a collaborative 5-team organization that strives for work-life balance and engineering excellence.

As an SDE, you'll be responsible for writing high-quality distributed system software, working with AWS services like SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, Step Functions, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Data Pipelines. You'll help launch new programs that optimize logistics costs and increase unit sales while maintaining key system features.
