Description For Software Development Engineer, Endpoint Security

Join Amazon's Stores Security team as a Software Development Engineer focused on endpoint security. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of protecting Amazon's customer data by developing sophisticated security systems that safeguard endpoints used by Amazonians worldwide. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining critical security infrastructure that processes billions of daily user interactions with sensitive data.

The position offers an opportunity to work on challenging technical problems at massive scale, implementing security best practices and developing innovative solutions for endpoint protection. You'll be building distributed systems with six 9s availability, creating data loss prevention mechanisms, and developing real-time monitoring solutions using AWS technologies.

As part of the Stores Security team, you'll collaborate with business teams across Amazon to implement security best practices and protect critical business functions including Retail, Customer Service, and Worldwide Operations. The role requires strong software development skills and security expertise, with opportunities to influence system design from inception to execution.
