Software Development Engineer II, AWS CloudTrail

The CloudTrail team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their innovative group. This role involves working on one of the largest audit logging systems globally, providing AWS customers with visibility into user activity and resource changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help define system architecture and implement specific components
• Build highly available, secure, scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems
• Contribute to planning, architecture design, implementation, testing, and process improvement
• Participate in on-call responsibilities (typically one week every two months)

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Experience with full software development life cycle
