Software Development Engineer III, Amazon Security

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their mission of securing cloud computing at massive scale. This role is part of the team responsible for security across all AWS services, including EC2, S3, and others. The position involves working closely with various AWS teams to tackle complex security challenges and implement innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will focus on building services that meet customer security requirements, from compliance to analysis. The role involves deep diving into security technologies including authentication systems, hardware security components, cryptography, system hardening, and large-scale audit analysis.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with users to design new security features, prototyping and demonstrating functionality, deploying software through automated systems, and providing operational support for deployed solutions.
