Software Development Engineer III, Center for Infrastructure Software and Controls

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This team keeps the cloud running by managing all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The Center for Infrastructure Software and Controls team is specifically focused on developing critical solutions for Amazon's global data center network.

As a Software Development Engineer III, you'll be working on developing next-generation software platforms and automation solutions. The role involves working across multiple layers of the automation stack, from low-level embedded systems to cloud-based solutions that manage fleets of data center devices. You'll be developing and deploying complex automation control systems, working with embedded PLC and DCS firmware, SCADA and HMI interfaces, and creating cloud-based monitoring and analytics platforms.
