Software Development Engineer III, Hub Tech

Join Amazon's Lockers team, a dynamic startup-like environment within Amazon that's revolutionizing package delivery. We operate a network of 10,000 lockers across 12+ countries, handling millions of packages monthly. Our mission is to make package delivery asynchronous, solving delivery coordination challenges for Amazon customers.

We're embarking on an ambitious project to create next-generation lockers that operate without internet and power connections for years. These innovative lockers will be easily installed in public places and discoverable to customers in real-time, supporting our goal to scale 10x in the next three years.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work on building Amazon's largest pickup platform integrated with Retail, develop package delivery capabilities in the Carrier App (Rabbit), create maintenance capabilities in our Administrator App, and build firmware using cutting-edge technologies like RUST. You'll also develop highly scalable backend services using native AWS technologies, most built from scratch.

This role offers both breadth and depth of experience, working with multiple partners from vendors in China to Lab126 in San Francisco. You'll be part of a team that's making a significant impact in the next year, helping to transform how customers receive and return their packages.
