Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Global Planning

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) to provide global broadband access. The Kuiper Global Planning team is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating systems that support the planning, management, and optimization of Kuiper's worldwide network resources. As a Software Development Engineer on this team, you'll be developing a critical new product for worldwide strategic planning that will be instrumental in executing Kuiper's business plans. The role involves complex optimization problems for operating and planning satellite constellations, requiring strong technical skills and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, utilizing AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly available services. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
