Software Development Engineer, OTA-Agent Team

Project Kuiper is an ambitious Amazon initiative focused on launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As a Software Development Engineer on the OTA-Agent Team within the Deployment and Release Engineering team, you'll be at the forefront of developing critical satellite systems.

The role requires expertise in system design of backend services and AWS cloud infrastructure, including IAM, Lambdas, CloudWatch, and API gateways. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites. The team handles crucial satellite functions including power management, hardware interfaces, command & telemetry, autonomous control, and over-the-air updates.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 based on location and experience, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
