Description For Sr. Customer Success Engineer, Amazon Redshift

Amazon Redshift is seeking a Senior Customer Success Engineer to join their world-class service team at AWS. This role combines technical expertise in data warehousing with customer-facing responsibilities, supporting one of the most innovative cloud platforms globally. The position involves working with Amazon Redshift, a fully managed, petabyte-scale data warehouse service that enables querying data across data warehouses and S3 Data Lakes.

The role requires a unique combination of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. You'll work directly with some of AWS's largest customers, supporting Redshift engineering, product, and operations teams. Key responsibilities include issue resolution, pre-sales support, process automation, and close collaboration with business and support teams.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data warehouse technologies, preferably in large-scale, distributed environments, along with strong communication skills and customer obsession. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology while helping customers optimize their data warehouse implementations and solve complex technical challenges.

  • Support Redshift engineering, product, and operations

Requirements For Sr. Customer Success Engineer, Amazon Redshift

PostgreSQL
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture
  • Experience with data warehouse technologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel ~30% domestic with some international
