Sr. Mech Product Engineer, Data Center Eng, Mech Solutions

We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you'll be part of a global data center engineering team responsible for the design and continuous innovation within our rapidly expanding data center footprint. You'll take full ownership to design resilient, cost-effective mechanical systems, drive continuous advancements and improvements, and communicate technical direction to Sr. Management.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and develop new data center product solutions
• Support field engineering and data center operation teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Leverage economy of scale through standardization and modularization of data center products
• Provide technical subject matter expertise to peers, senior management, and partner teams
• Develop business justification and narratives to promote new concepts and ideas
• Lead key initiatives while demonstrating extreme ownership
• Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify appropriate mechanical components
• Provide product design support and write functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures
