Amazon develops innovative consumer-centric product solutions. As a reliability program engineer, you will be part of an exciting team developing, testing, and delivering products. Your primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of methodologies/techniques to enhance product reliability. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and outside partners to drive and execute product qualification.
Key responsibilities:
- Create reliability test plans including resource allocations, validation schedule assumptions, and validation items scope.
- Manage the local CM team on reliability resource planning, test execution, failure analysis, and track issues from creation to closure.
- Implement specific validation items in reliability test plans with schedule. Make flexible adjustments based on issues occurring and debugging.
- Lead and drive DFMEA, debugging, failure analysis, DOEs, and fixing issues discovered during testing.
- Evaluate and develop reliability test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage.
- Evaluate reliability risks and escalate to management team.
- Travel extensively in Vietnam and Asia to support reliability activities.
- Travel to US for team collaboration or training.
As a Reliability Program Manager (RPM), you will:
- Develop and implement methodologies/techniques to enhance product reliability and manage reliability activities.
- Lead reliability engineering and operations activities through the device execution phase process.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and outside partners to drive and execute product qualification and failure analysis.
- Drive configuration management deliverables to ensure timely release of device components and assemblies to production.
- Assist CM management team in enhancing local infrastructure and capability, including lab construction, testing and FA capability.
- Assist with cross-functional team activities to ensure the right level of engagement from reliability.
This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, experience with failure analysis techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
