As an Amazon Senior Software Development Engineer, you will solve unique and complex problems at a rapid pace, utilizing the latest technologies to create scalable solutions. You'll be responsible for:

• Designing and developing large-scale, critical, and complex financial applications

The role involves full-stack software development, from scoping requirements to deployment, working in a DevOps delivery model. You'll collaborate with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and other tech teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale critical applications
• Develop robust feature sets, elegant designs, and intuitive user interfaces
• Work on front-end, back-end, or full-stack development based on experience and business needs
• Communicate with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements and describe product features
• Mentor and lead engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year to $261,500/year, depending on the geographic market. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package and values diversity in the workplace.
