Sr. Security Engineer, Kuiper Security

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As a Sr. Security Engineer on the Kuiper Security team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security of this advanced satellite-based broadband telecom service end-to-end. You'll work in a startup-like environment while leveraging Amazon's robust infrastructure to establish security mechanisms and foster a strong security culture.

The role combines strategic security leadership with hands-on technical work. You'll establish security standards, conduct threat modeling, and guide development teams in implementing secure solutions. Working closely with business leaders, you'll define security priorities and serve as a trusted advisor on security matters. You'll be involved in everything from architectural security decisions to incident response and penetration testing.

This position offers unique challenges in securing cutting-edge satellite technology while protecting customer data.
