Project Kuiper, an Amazon initiative, is revolutionizing global connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. As a Sr Signal Integrity Engineer in the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) team, you'll be at the forefront of developing satellite and ground system designs for US and allied government customers. This role combines advanced electrical engineering with space technology, focusing on critical signal integrity and power design for satellite communications systems.

You'll lead various aspects of hardware development, from schematic design to board testing, while working with cutting-edge RF and communications payloads. The position requires expertise in analog power, digital design, and mixed-signal systems, along with proficiency in signal/power integrity analysis using advanced simulation tools.

Responsibilities For Sr Signal Integrity Engineer, Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS)

  • Design electrical circuits including digital and analog power for RF and communications payloads
  • Analyze circuits using software tools for Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI)
  • Perform electrical design and layout trade studies
  • Generate ADS circuit analysis for high speed digital, RF, and analog circuits
  • Work on SI/PI model extraction and validation using 3D/2D EM simulation tools
  • Present analysis results and provide layout guidelines
  • Execute signal measurement for validation
  • Design and support test campaigns for space hardware

Requirements For Sr Signal Integrity Engineer, Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • 7+ years experience in hardware development across the full product life cycle
  • 7+ years electrical engineering work experience in Space, Aerospace/Defense, Automotive, and/or Communications fields
  • 7+ years of experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools and PCB design
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI
