Sr Software Dev Engineer, AI Platform (Level 6), Edge AI Platform

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Devices team working on AI Platform and Edge AI technologies. This role is part of Amazon's devices business, which has grown from the first Kindle e-reader to include Fire tablets, Fire TV, Echo devices, and Alexa voice services.

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader ready to drive innovation in consumer electronics, working closely with machine learning scientists. You'll be developing solutions to complex problems and engaging with cross-disciplinary teams to directly impact customer experience through product design, architecture, and implementation.

As a Senior SDE, you'll be:

• Architecting and developing highly scalable and cost-effective solutions
• Writing high-performance, test-driven code that meets requirements
• Maintaining production code and contributing to deployment processes
• Working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Mentoring and leading engineering teams
• Collaborating with machine learning scientists
