Sr Software Dev Engineer, AI, Storm Design System

Join Amazon Advertising's innovative team as a Senior Software Developer Engineer focused on revolutionizing UI development through AI integration. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and user interface development, where you'll pioneer next-generation AI-assisted development tools. You'll be responsible for the architectural vision and implementation of AI-powered development solutions within the Storm Design System.

The position involves building intelligent code generation capabilities that understand and implement UI design patterns, while collaborating with AI teams to optimize model performance. You'll work on creating tools that empower developers to focus on innovation rather than implementation details. The team owns the UI design system component library and documentation, serving all of Amazon Advertising.

As a senior engineer, you'll lead the development of AI-powered code generation systems, integrate with various AI tools including Amazon Q and Claude, and ensure generated code meets Amazon's high standards for quality and performance. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to create intuitive AI-assisted development features.

Key projects include developing an AI-powered assistant integrated into the UI playground for code generation and rapid prototyping, structuring and maintaining UI knowledge bases to support AI-powered development, and integrating large language models with the component library and documentation.
