The AWS Networking organization is seeking Senior Software Development Engineers to join their Core Network Engineering team. The role focuses on developing scalable and operable software and system designs for controller-based routing solutions supporting rapidly expanding Core Networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing scalable software for in-house built route server solutions
• Participating in full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment
• Working with Linux operating systems and networking
• Collaborating with peer teams within Networking
• Contributing to team roadmap and project prioritization

The position is within AWS Infrastructure Services, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. The team supports all AWS data centers and the infrastructure that ensures continuous customer access to AWS services.

The role requires strong coding skills, expertise in software development best practices, and deep knowledge of Linux and networking. Candidates should have experience leading large projects with ambitious timelines using agile methodologies.
