The People eXperience and Technology (PXT) Central Science Team at Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This role combines software engineering excellence with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to improve Amazon's workforce experience. The team uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, Machine Learning, and LLMs to develop solutions that enhance both Amazon's operations and employees' wellbeing.

The position requires expertise in managing large-scale data within MLOps/GenAIOps frameworks, with a focus on the complete Machine Learning lifecycle. You'll be responsible for building distributed systems that make ML and LLM models run efficiently in a CI/CD environment. The role involves working with various products, from Data Lakes to scientific experimentation tools, and developing web applications integrated with Amazon's ecosystem.

As a senior engineer, you'll collaborate with a diverse team of economists, academic scholars, and ML experts to design and implement solutions that drive meaningful impact. The role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while solving complex challenges in workforce experience and technology. The position is based in Bellevue, WA, and offers competitive compensation ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 per year, plus additional benefits including equity and comprehensive healthcare.
