Studios Engineer/Video Production Specialist, Event Productions: Studios, Event Productions (IT Services)

This role is for a Studios Engineer/Video Production Specialist in the Event Productions team at Amazon. The position involves operating video and audio production equipment for both live and pre-recorded content creation, as well as supporting on/off-campus events. Key responsibilities include:

1. Pre-Production:

   • Acting as a subject matter expert in visual and audio production
   • Collaborating with customers and producers during planning meetings
   • Overseeing equipment testing and setup
   • Preparing technical setups and running technical rehearsals

2. Production:

   • Directing customers through the production process
   • Collaborating with producers during operations
   • Providing operational services such as videography and audio engineering
   • Optimizing systems for the best quality
   • Adapting to client needs and changes

3. Post-Production:

   • Assisting with set strike and equipment storage
   • Uploading and quality-checking footage
   • Helping with post-production edits
   • Participating in post-event feedback discussions

4. Other Responsibilities:

   • Maintaining equipment
   • Providing expertise for equipment purchases and updates

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in videography, camera operations, audio engineering, and lighting composition. They should have deep knowledge of studio equipment, technical directing abilities, and experience in post-production services. The role requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a focus on improving the customer experience.
