Description For Support Engineer

Amazon's Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) organization is seeking a passionate Support Engineer to join their team. This role combines technical expertise with process engineering to enhance Amazon's seller verification systems. As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing automated solutions that improve the seller verification process.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while directly impacting Amazon's marketplace security and seller experience. You'll be part of a team that protects the buying experience on Amazon while ensuring a smooth process for legitimate sellers. Responsibilities For Support Engineer

  • Analyze operational processes to design, develop, test, launch and improve self-service software products
  • Work with Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) Organization
  • Document requirements, create functional specifications and generate process maps
  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert on Amazon's internal authoring application
  • Develop efficient solutions through low and medium complexity code implementations
  • Deep dive technical product or operational issues to propose and implement solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, product managers, software engineers, and other teams

Requirements For Support Engineer

Python
JavaScript
  • 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
  • Experience scripting in Python or Javascript
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Experience with SQL databases (querying and analyzing)
