Description For Support Engineer, Fire TV 3P Applications

Are you passionate about revolutionizing the way people consume entertainment in their homes? Fire TV is one of the most popular platforms for streaming content globally. As a Support Engineer on the Fire TV 3P Apps QA team, you'll be responsible for quality assurance of various streaming applications on Fire TV products.

You'll work on:

  • Providing first-level engineering support for streaming application issues
  • Troubleshooting and identifying root causes of functional issues
  • Developing tools, applications, and scripts to improve support operations
  • Interfacing with cross-functional teams and external app developers
  • Making code fixes to resolve support issues
  • Building monitoring metrics dashboards
  • Maintaining service level agreements

The Fire TV 3P Apps QA team owns quality assurance for streaming applications, builds services, tools, and application development frameworks. You'll be working on projects that push the boundaries of customer-device interaction.

This role requires quick learning ability and capability to handle multiple overlapping tasks. You'll be working with cutting-edge streaming technology while collaborating with brilliant engineers and product visionaries to shape the future of streaming media.
