Description For Support Engineer II

Transportation Financial Systems (TFS) at Amazon is seeking a Support Engineer II to join their team that manages technology components for transportation business financial activities. This role is part of a critical system used across all transportation programs and retail expansion globally. TFS systems handle financial document creation & management, expense auditing, accounting, payments, and cost allocation functions.

The position offers an opportunity to work with highly scalable new generation products that operate at granular levels to reconcile transportation financial accounts with zero manual entries. You'll be part of a mission to abstract logistics complexities from the financial world and financial complexities from the logistics world, working on a global product suite for all freight modes touching every package movement across Amazon.

As a Support Engineer II, you'll be responsible for maintaining system reliability through troubleshooting, monitoring, and implementing solutions. The role requires strong technical skills in Java, Perl, Ruby, and SQL, combined with the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. You'll collaborate with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, focusing on system enhancement and process automation.
