Support Engineering, TFS AUTOM onboarding team

Amazon's Transportation Financial Systems (TFS) team is seeking a Support Engineer to join their transportation fintech business onboarding team. TFS owns the critical technology components that handle financial activities across Amazon's transportation business, operating across all transportation programs and retail expansion globally.

The role combines both financial systems expertise and transportation domain knowledge, focusing on building highly scalable solutions that reconcile transportation financial accounts with zero manual intervention. You'll be working on a global product suite that touches every package movement across Amazon's vast logistics network.

As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the systems that abstract logistics complexities from financial operations and vice versa. Your daily activities will include troubleshooting production issues, developing monitoring solutions, implementing code fixes in various languages (Perl, Ruby, Java), performing SQL queries, and conducting end-to-end functional testing.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. You'll need to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, identifying potential issues before they occur and implementing preventive solutions. The role requires someone who can accurately prioritize projects, make sound technical judgments, and focus on improving the customer experience.
