The team supports mission-critical, high-volume applications that are essential to Amazon's fulfillment network.
Key responsibilities include system architecture and design, troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing security vulnerabilities, and automating processes for increased efficiency. You'll be part of a team that provides 12x7 oncall support on a rotation basis.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in modern programming languages and have a track record of designing scalable systems.
