System Development Engineer, Intelligent Cloud Hosting

Join Amazon's Intelligent Cloud Hosting team, responsible for hosting Amazon's global websites and digital experiences. This team manages the infrastructure behind all of Amazon's marketplaces, partner portals, and consumer experiences including Kindle, Alexa, Amazon Video, and more. As a System Development Engineer, you'll be part of a diverse international team focused on operational excellence, security, cost reduction, and maintaining high availability for the world's largest e-commerce infrastructure.

The role involves creating and updating strategic SRE tools built on AWS technology, used to deploy, monitor, and operate hundreds of thousands of services in Amazon's distributed architecture. You'll work with orchestration, predictive analytics, monitoring, problem diagnosis, and automated repair tools. The team operates from multiple global locations including Dublin, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
