Systems Development Engineer, Data Center Controls Automation and Support

The Data Center Controls Automation and Support team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to drive the development and scaling of controls deployment services across AWS Data Centers worldwide. As a Systems Development Engineer II, you'll be working on designing and implementing software solutions that power AWS Data Center controls deployment platform and management software products. The team develops tooling for data center controls device frameworks and device lifecycle management in AWS Data Centers, including both frontend and backend services used by internal development teams and on-site customers. You'll be collaborating with a cross-functional team of hardware engineers, data center operations specialists, and security experts.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable system solutions, writing automation scripts, troubleshooting complex production issues, and working with stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 per year, depending on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and 401k.
