Responsibilities For Systems Development Engineer, Global Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP)
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new software systems
- Maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting
- Focus on major portions of existing or new team technology implementation
- Ensure high level of support for team-owned tools
- Consider system scalability and avoid short-term workarounds
- Identify and improve patterns affecting performance, reliability, or availability
- Prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment
Requirements For Systems Development Engineer, Global Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP)
- 8+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 8+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment experience
- Experience building tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring
- Experience designing, maintaining, and utilizing SCADA systems
- Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
- Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex software solutions
