Systems Development Engineer, Global Robotics Delivery

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join the Continuous Improvement & Automation team. The role involves supporting business scaling and building the next generation of robots. Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing best-in-class systems and business processes within a complex PLM and Supply Chain environment
• Supporting PLM applications in Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing areas
• Developing tools and automation for manufacturing and Hardware/Software Engineering teams
• Designing scalable and resilient technical solutions
• Working cross-functionally with global teams
• Automating software updates across Linux/Windows environments
• Designing and maintaining automated solutions for testing, alerting, and monitoring
• Characterizing system and component level performance
• Mentoring others in technical understanding of systems and applications operations

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong programming skills in Java, Unix, and WebServices
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on PLM implementation experience in areas such as Bills of Material, Supply Chain Planning, Product Compliance, and Quality Management
