Wireless Network Dev Engineer II, Core Networking

Join Amazon's Operations Technology Engineers team building wired and wireless networks powering Amazon fulfillment centers and transportation sites worldwide. As a Network Development Engineer II, you'll provide technical leadership in designing next-generation networks supporting robotics, industrial IoT, sensors, drones, and mobile devices. The role involves making data-driven decisions and iterating on designs to deliver scalable systems.

The position offers flexible working arrangements with a follow-the-sun on-call rotation (one week every five weeks) during working hours Monday to Sunday. You'll collaborate with teams across India, Dublin, and North America to ensure network reliability and quick incident resolution.

Your responsibilities include improving wireless network availability, partnering with peer teams on technological solutions, implementing metrics for performance monitoring, and developing automation for network management. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies in the world's largest fulfillment network, providing mentorship to support teams while ensuring network reliability.

The Core Networking team supports diverse operations globally, from small delivery stations to advanced automated fulfillment centers across North America, Japan, and Europe.
