This role combines deep wireless networking expertise with software development to build and maintain one of the world's largest wireless networks. The Wireless Network Development Engineer will shape technical strategy, collaborate with multiple teams, and drive improvements in network availability and performance.

Responsibilities For Wireless Network Development Engineer, Operations, IT, & Support Engineering
- Write code for cross-functional networking projects
- Identify and deliver technical solutions to improve wireless network availability
- Partner with peer teams to understand customer problems
- Define and meter the availability of network solutions
- Automate infrastructure testing, deployment, operations, and life cycle management
- Provide 24x7 escalation service on shift rotation basis
- Investigate and solve wireless network failures
- Create and update wireless network design
- Participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements For Wireless Network Development Engineer, Operations, IT, & Support Engineering
- 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
- 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- 4+ years of working with Cisco and/or Juniper network gear
- 1+ year experience in Cisco/MIST wireless and related technology Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Wireless Access Points (WAP)
- 2+ years of automation scripting using Python, Ansible experience
