Amgen, a pioneering biotechnology company with over 40 years of experience, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) team. This role is integral to their regulatory submission content automation initiative, which aims to modernize and digitize the regulatory submission process using cutting-edge technologies including Generative AI.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of biotechnology and software engineering, where you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that directly impact the company's regulatory submission processes. You'll work with state-of-the-art technologies, including GenAI content authoring and data mapping platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions.

As an Associate Software Engineer, you'll be involved in both front-end and back-end development, working with technologies like React and Python. Responsibilities For Associate Software Engineer – Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for GenAI content authoring and management systems
  • Build APIs and services to support GenAI content retrieval, storage, and rendering
  • Work on both front-end and back-end components of the CMC content solutions
  • Deploy and manage CMC content solution infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Assist with system maintenance, including bug fixes and upgrades
  • Participate in technical discussions and code reviews
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Work closely with product team and stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of Computer Science/IT experience OR Diploma and 4-7 years experience
  • Strong technical background in software development processes and databases
