Senior Software Engineer – DevOps

Amgen, a pioneering biotechnology company with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join their AI & Data Innovation Lab. This role is part of the Artificial Intelligence & Data function within ATMOS (Amgen Technology and Medical Organizations). The Lab focuses on exploring and integrating new technologies that deliver measurable value and competitive advantage. They've developed groundbreaking algorithms for predicting bone fractures, optimizing clinical trial site selection, and accelerating regulatory document authoring using AI.

The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of biotechnology and artificial intelligence. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing deployment strategies for AI systems using AWS stack, ensuring high availability and scalability. You'll work with state-of-the-art tools and technologies including EKS, ECS, Lambda, SageMaker, and DynamoDB.

The role requires expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud architecture, with a focus on AWS services. You'll collaborate with AI product teams, implement best practices, and stay current with emerging technologies.
