Frontend Software Engineer, Space

As a Frontend Software Engineer on Space Ground Software at Anduril Industries, you will own the design, implementation, and deployment of mission-critical frontend software solutions that support customer missions for space operations, mission management, and autonomy. You will develop modular capabilities to support the DoD and IC customers across the space domain, building UX workflows on top of the Anduril Lattice software platform, including space domain-specific operator displays, control interfaces, and mission planning. The role involves integration with legacy systems and new space systems, working with mission partners and operators to deploy reliable and robust capabilities on operationally-relevant fielding timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning software solutions deployed to customers
• Developing frontend software capabilities for end-to-end mission systems
• Integrating with legacy systems to unlock 21st-century capabilities
• Writing code to improve products and scale mission capabilities
• Collaborating across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality
• Triaging issues and coordinating next steps
• Partnering with end-users to turn needs into features
• Working in a startup-like environment to create elegant SaaS or on-premise solutions
• Contributing quality code to level up the team's applications
• Having deep expertise in a portion of the full stack

This role offers the opportunity to work on critical software with real-world impact in the space domain, balancing user experience with engineering constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience with spacecraft software systems and operations, and proficiency in web-based technologies such as Javascript, React, and Typescript.
