Senior Tactical Network Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Tactical Network Engineer to join their innovative defense technology team. This role sits at the intersection of advanced networking and military technology, focusing on enabling command and control (C2) and collaborative autonomy of distributed unmanned systems.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge defense technology projects, directly impacting the capabilities of U.S. and allied military forces. As part of the Test Engineering team, you'll work across various products including Altius, Lattice, Ghost UAS, and Sentry Tower platforms. The role combines expertise in networking protocols, RF systems, and tactical military communications.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing networking solutions across multiple OSI layers, creating network configurations for complex unmanned systems, and optimizing RF configurations for maximum effectiveness. You'll be building robust tools for network analysis, creating detailed technical documentation, and working directly with customers to implement solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in tactical LOS and BLOS RF systems, military network infrastructure, and secure communication protocols. You should be comfortable working in unstructured situations and able to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently. The role requires significant travel (50%+) to test sites and the ability to maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance.
