Description For Electrical Engineer

Anser Advisory, part of Accenture, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing buildings team. This role offers an opportunity to work on interesting projects that will expand your expertise and hone your technical skills using the most advanced technology in the market.

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with designs and controls of electrical systems in construction projects, finalizing and approving preliminary designs, and conducting site visits to oversee installation, testing, and operations. You'll also analyze electrical system requirements, develop system and budget plans, and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, six years of relevant experience, and a valid Professional Engineer certification in Electrical Engineering from California. This position offers a competitive salary range of $138,000 - $150,000 per year, with the potential for higher pay based on education, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of electrical contractual requirements for projects
  • Ensure compliance with designs and controls of electrical systems in construction projects
  • Finalize and approve preliminary designs and drawings
  • Ensure compliance with LA Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) and other agencies
  • Conduct site visits and oversee installation, testing, and operations
  • Analyze electrical system requirements and develop system and budget plans
  • Develop and monitor maintenance, testing procedures, and quality assurance
  • Summarize and present data and report on test results
  • Inspect electrical and electronic equipment for safety standards compliance
  • Evaluate systems and recommend repairs or modifications
  • Plan and develop applications for electrical and electronic components
  • Oversee site work elements within the discipline

Requirements For Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Six (6) years of electrical engineering design experience in public agency, school construction or large capital commercial projects
  • Valid Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering issued by the California State Board of Registration of Civil and Professional Engineers
