The company is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Test Engineer to join their mission of providing humankind access to the galaxy.

The role focuses on avionics testing and checkouts, where you'll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of space systems and components. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing test protocols for avionics systems validation. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in aerospace testing standards and hands-on experience with avionics systems.

Responsibilities For Spacecraft Test Engineer (Senior)

  • Develop, execute, and manage test plans, procedures, and protocols for avionics testing/checkouts
  • Design and set up test fixtures, equipment, and instrumentation
  • Perform avionics system tests, including functional and performance checks
  • Analyze test data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive test reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality assurance, HITL & GNC
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and technicians
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in avionics testing

Requirements For Spacecraft Test Engineer (Senior)

  • U.S. Persons status required
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics/avionics testing within aerospace industry
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace testing standards, protocols, and regulations
  • Experience with avionics systems testing, including software and hardware validation
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
