AIML - AIML Triage and Diagnostic Tooling Engineer, AIML Integration and Delivery

Apple's AIML Asset Delivery team is seeking a passionate and dedicated Triage and Diagnostic Tooling Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in building, packaging, publishing, and downloading ML models for Apple devices to enable Apple Intelligence features, Siri on device, and Dictation across all OS platforms.

As a triage and diagnostic tooling engineer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring smooth delivery of AI/ML capabilities to millions of Apple devices. You'll work with cutting-edge technology across iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS platforms, analyzing complex issues and developing sophisticated tooling solutions.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing incoming bugs, performing root cause analysis, and either resolving issues directly or coordinating with appropriate teams. You'll also be instrumental in enhancing and developing triage methods and tools to streamline the process, directly impacting the efficiency of the entire AIML asset delivery pipeline.

The ideal candidate brings strong debugging and problem-solving skills, deep technical curiosity, and excellent communication abilities. You should have experience with macOS/iOS systems, be comfortable with Unix environments, and possess strong scripting abilities in Python and shell scripting. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring an excellent customer experience when Apple ships new software updates and devices.
