AIML - SW Engineer, Web Indexing team

Apple's MLPT & Infra teams are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their Web Indexing team, working on groundbreaking technology for algorithmic search, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This role offers the opportunity to work on systems that power search features across Apple products including Siri, Spotlight, Safari, Messages, and Lookup. You'll be working with one of the most exciting high-performance computing environments, handling petabytes of data and millions of queries per second.

The position involves building and designing infrastructure for advanced intelligence systems that process trillions of links and analyze pages for content indexing. You'll be working on developing a generic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) indexing infrastructure framework, allowing for customized index building and rapid experiment iteration.
