As an Analog Design Engineer Lead at Apple, you'll be part of the team delivering high-quality, on-time silicon for all mobile products. Your responsibilities will span all aspects of silicon design, including:
• Working with Platform Architecture and Systems teams to establish silicon requirements. • Delivering first revision functional silicon and production-worthy silicon per system requirements on schedule. • Collaborating with silicon vendors to ensure innovative design practices and methodologies/processes are in place. • Leading next-generation architectures, circuit designs, and development of new process technologies. • Ensuring designs are properly verified, validated, and tested for long-term reliability. • Leading schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts.
You'll work on groundbreaking technologies for products like iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. This role requires a strong engineering background, leadership skills, and the ability to influence, connect, and communicate effectively to deliver on dynamic schedules.
Key qualifications include: • BS degree with 10+ years of industry experience • Experience designing analog and mixed-signal silicon • Understanding of analog design fundamentals, tools, and methodologies • Experience with the full project lifecycle, from concept to mass production • In-depth design experience with various analog building blocks • Knowledge of board-level considerations, IC process technologies, and high-volume manufacturing
