Responsibilities For Camera Control-Systems Engineer

  • Systems-level analysis and modeling of electromechanical systems
  • Control systems analysis, synthesis, and implementation
  • Measurement system prototyping, including HW, FW and SW development
  • Automation of measurement procedures and data analysis
  • Defining and maintaining system specifications
  • Defining subsystem and system level tests
  • Management of project deliverables and schedules
  • Discovering and tracking external technology development
  • Occasional international travel to vendors

Requirements For Camera Control-Systems Engineer

Python
  • BS in a relevant field (Physics, ME, EE, ASE, CS, Optical Engineering, etc.)
  • Experience with linear and nonlinear control systems design
  • Experience in estimation strategies (Kalman filtering, data-driven system ID)
  • Ability to derive plant models with multiple inputs and outputs
  • Experience with Matlab and Simulink for modeling and simulation
  • Familiarity with inertial navigation sensors and sensor fusion
  • Proficiency with test equipment
